GN Hearing has thickened the imprint of its OTC offering by rebranding Lively, an online teleaudiology purchase it made in 2021, which will now take the name of GN's flagship over-the-counter hearing aid, Jabra Enhance.

Henceforth, www.jabraenhance.com will serve as a website for people with hearing loss who don’t want to leave home to find a solution, in other words the ideal online customer for product that fits the over-the-counter (OTC) category.

Lively’s own hearing aid technology will continue to be offered, but now as Jabra Enhance Select 50, Enhance Select 100, and Enhance Select 200. The Lively Connect app will be renamed Jabra Enhance Select, and Lively’s Audiology Team, 100-day risk free trial, flexible payment options, and warranty will all remain as key elements of the Jabra Enhance offering. Additionally, the new Jabra Enhance Plus hearing enhancement earbuds will be available on JabraEnhance.com in Q1 2023, as its first OTC offering.

In his press release quote, Calum MacDougall, Senior Vice President at Jabra, captures the essence of the targeting this rebranding embraces, a hoped-for spur for the sufferer of mild to moderate hearing loss who might be motivated by the armchair convenience of online buying and a lower hearing aid price, conditions now ripened by the reclassification of hearing aids in the USA.
