EUHA Awards 2026 announced – what and who will win the prize money?

The 2026 EUHA Sponsorship Award has been declared open to entrants. Apply now.

The awards scheme exists to promote the next generation of hearing aid audiologists, and to boost EUHA’s own profile as an association bringing together hearing aid acousticians, scientists, and all those with an interest in hearing-specific issues.

You have until 15 August 2026 to submit entries.

What candidates does the EUHA Sponsorship Award seek?

The organisers of the award are now accepting diploma, bachelor’s or master’s theses that serve hearing loss rehabilitation. Entries must have a certain development potential.

The jury also emphasises that the work must have a practical benefit for the hearing aid industry. Students at a university or university of applied sciences who have completed their studies within the last 24 months are eligible to apply. You don’tneed to be a hearing care professional.

The EUHA places special emphasis on:

  • auditory applicability of the results found to humans, processes, or production methods
  • relevance to hearing aid fitting
  • relevance to customer services.

Whether theses are forward-looking and original will also be taken into account in evaluation of submissions.
The audiological component will play an important part in the assessment. A courageous approach as well as the ability to develop and convincingly present a subject will be valued.

When are awards handed out?

The EUHA Sponsorship Award 2026 will be presented during the 70th International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians on October 14 2026 in Hanover. The winners will receive prize money and present their work at the EUHA Congress.
