THE GREAT OUTDOORS: Exotic conference locations: Paris, Florida,...and why not Bishkek!
For the adventurous hearing professional, the conference scene during the latter half of 2023 and a not-so-distant summer and autumn, 2024 offers a range of enticing venues for some enthralling updating events.
Perhaps the most fascinating location is the Sheraton Hotel in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, where this September 11 and 12 sees the XIII International Tinnitus Seminar and the II World Tinnitus Congress. It looks like a fantastic place for what in 1979 was just a seminar event, but is now an intercontinental science forum on tinnitus, bringing more than 30 speakers. More info here.
Two months later, in the contrasting setting of the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa, Bonita Springs, Florida, USA, it is time for AuDACITY 2023, November 2 to 4. Check out the details here.
And then we’ll always have Paris, except that we don’t always have this beautiful city for an audiological event, so make the most of the 36th World Congress of Audiology being held there from September 19 to 22, 2024. It will begin half a century, almost to the day, since the edition organized in 1974 the French Society of Audiology, which was the last time the World Congress was in the French capital.
