WSA, which is is privately owned by the Tøpholm and Westermann families, the Lundbeck Foundation, EQT and ATHOS KG, operates in over 130 markets. In Singapore, the group has its regional HQ, as well as production and distribution centres in Suzhou, China, and Binan, Philippines.

James B is the new Mr. APAC for WSA
James Benston has been promoted to President of the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region for WS Audiology, effective October 1, 2025. Benston began his career at WSA nearly three decades ago as a technician building hearing aids in the Brisbane office, and has worked his way up the ladder, most recently leading the company's Australian and New Zealand markets. Benston succeeds Olivier Chupin in WSA's fasts growing region. Chupin decided to leave the company after four successful years to pursue a career outside of WSA, and has been thanked "for his outstanding work" by the WSA CEO, Jan Makela. "I’m thrilled to welcome James Benston to the Executive Committee and as the new President of the APAC region," said Makela.
