France, European champion in hearing aid adoption (Eurotrak 2025)
As of this year, France is the country with the highest proportion of hearing-impaired people in Europe (tied with Denmark), and even worldwide, according to the latest Eurotrak 2025 study. Is a huge recent climb in adoption in France because of a change in delivery of devices through the state health system?

According to the latest figures published in the Eurotrak 2025 study, France has a hearing aid adoption rate of 55% - a record figure across Europe, if not the world, since the country has now matched Denmark's record rate, which was until recently considered unattainable. There are no global figures for this, so certainty on a world standing evades us; intuitively, manufacturers say they can see no other country capable of matching the French climb.
The study also shows that 83% of French hearing aid wearers are satisfied, and 97% even claim that their hearing aids have improved their quality of life. Another victory for professionals, who can congratulate themselves on the quality of their work, since these figures are only 80% and 70% respectively for the rest of Europe.
