New GN management team announced as governance restructuring seeks "simpler, faster and more powerful way to run company"
As of October 1, 2023, GN Hearing has a new executive leadership team taking it into the next step of integration between its tripartite structure: GN Store Nord, GN Hearing, and GN Audio.
Underlining the attractiveness of the markets in which the group operates, new CEO Peter Karlstromer announced the purpose of the shake-up, which sees former CEO Gitte Aabo move out of the picture: “Our new organisation will ensure a strong customer and business focus, while also allowing us to capture further innovation and scale benefits from shared functions across our company. This is a simpler, faster and more powerful way to run our company, and will bring tangible benefits to all stakeholders over time.”
Simplicity comes to GN in the form of a three-way division, with accountability for customer and business success, namely Hearing, Enterprise, and Gaming & Consumer. The divisions will be supported by strong group-wide functions to drive scale across the company: Finance, HR, R&D, Operations, IT, and Strategy & Transformation.
The new CFO is Søren Jelert, whose career spans roles at Maersk Oil & Gas, Novo Nordisk, NNE Pharmaplan and, at GN as CFO of ALK-Abello.
