Wednesday, June 24 brings the first of three International Hearing Society (IHS) Virtual Conference days, the organisation's first ever online live event.

Live global audiology events are back – virtually – for three Wednesdays

For three consecutive Wednesdays—June 24, July 1, and July 8—experts in hearing health, practice, and business will be sharing their knowledge on a range of subjects delivered across nine separate sessions. From 12-4pm US Eastern Time, the programme runs three presentations each conference day, with breaks and IHS info sessions.

Sponsored by Beltone, CareCredit, Hearing Industries Association (HIA), Oticon, Miracle-Ear, and Starkey, the event offers attendance through two types of pass, Premium and Basic, both of which bestow Continuing Education credits for all nine live sessions. The first Wednesday (June 24) gets under way with a topical review of Safe Practice Protocols During and After the Pandemic by Marc Kaprow. This will be followed by a two-part presentation on Ethics, Verification, Validation and Hearing Aid Fittings, respectively by Douglas Beck and John Pumford.
