Cultivate your audiology practice with the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists

The event promises a packed day of learning and networking, with national and international experts set to cover the latest developments in audiology science and business. Sessions confirmed so far include building a dementia-friendly practice; the audiologist as entrepreneur; interventional audiology; binaural sensitivity; and hearing aid-processed music. Up to 11 CPD points are available for delegates.

Curtis Alcock, an independent hearing healthcare professional from Devon, will present Nectima, a new model of auditory wellbeing that cuts down on rehab time and resistance by automatically fostering a more positive, collaborative and supportive approach to better hearing.

Dr Brian Taylor from the US will talk about interventional audiology and Dr Christian Fullgrabe, a Senior Investigator Scientist at MRC Institute of Hearing Research, will update delegates on a new method for determining binaural sensitivity to temporal fine structure (TFS).

Nori Graham, Emeritus Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry at the Royal Free Hospital in London and a Dementia Friend Champion for the Alzheimer’s Society will look at building a dementia-friendly practice

Tickets for BSHAA members to this packed day of learning and networking are just £75 – with a group of four tickets available for £250. Student member tickets are £33; and HCA members £50. Non-BSHAA members are very welcome to attend for £125.
