Tinnitus UK Conference 2025: ACTION - CHANGE - CARE
The Tinnitus UK Conference 2025 is the launch of a new, hands-on, one-day in-person conference – while keeping all the benefits of digital access in a fully hybrid format. Showcasing the latest research and evidence-based information, this year’s event goes further, with inspiring discussions, expert panels, and practical workshops to support and elevate tinnitus care across the UK and beyond.

Friday, September 19 will see the return to a physical (though hybrid) gathering of hearing health professionals, researchers, and support group leaders for a Tinnitus UK Conference 2025. It takes place both in-person at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in Birmingham and online.
This year’s theme – Inspiring Action, Driving Change, Improving Care – reflects the charity’s mission to advance clinical services, accelerate research, and ensure better outcomes for people living with tinnitus. The conference programme combines plenary talks, panel discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, making it a key fixture in the sector’s professional calendar.
Key findings and audiology education under the spotlight
The day opens with a welcome from Tinnitus UK before sessions begin across two streamed rooms and a dedicated in-person participation room. The agenda has been shaped to cover clinical practice, research insights, and future thinking, offering delegates the chance to tailor their experience.
Among the programme highlights, delegates will hear about the challenges in accessing mental health support and services, as well as in exploring tinnitus in children.
There will be a research session, hosted by Dr. Will Sedley, that will provide a rapid overview of new projects and emerging findings, while other sessions will address tinnitus prevention, protection, and therapy, with a practical focus on hearing health.
Tinnitus UK will look at the future of audiology education and discuss how tinnitus will fit in that space as well as examining how services can adapt to meet currently unmet needs of people living with tinnitus.
Encouraging support groups for tinnitus
Alex Brooks-Johnson, leader of Tinnitus UK and a tinnitus sufferer.
And the Conference will consider the relationship between tinnitus and sleep, and explore how variability in symptoms can be better managed. For those supporting communities, a session on starting and growing tinnitus support groups will offer valuable guidance and encouragement.
The speaker line-up brings together leading clinicians, academics, and lived-experience advocates, ensuring a rich mix of expertise and perspectives. With content designed to support audiologists, ENT specialists, hearing therapists, psychologists, and peer-support leaders alike, the conference aims to be both practical and forward-looking.
Whether attending in Birmingham or joining online, delegates can expect a day of fresh insights, inspiring discussions, and the chance to connect with peers committed to transforming tinnitus care.
