With a similarly fragmented professional structure to the UK, Spain sees its audiology professionals aligned to different associations. But while the years go by in Britain as different groupings discuss how to form one College of Audiology, the Spanish professional panorama in hearing care is moving ahead with building a bridge across its islands.
Spain's three leading associations in the field of audiology, the National Association of Hearing Aid Manufacturers and Importers (ANFIA), the National Association of Hearing Aid Professionals (ANA) and the Spanish Association of Audiology (AEDA) have reached an agreement to organise a 1st National Convention of Audiology.
