Childcare prioritised by Specsavers with creche places available at PAC training conference

Providing on-site childcare ensures parents can focus on events they attend, while also potentially improving children's well-being by providing enriching experiences. The fact that parents in audiology are no exception to this grouping has been recognised by the giant UK retail network in hearing and optics, Specsavers, at its latest conference event.

Childcare prioritised by Specsavers with creche places available at PAC training conference

Specsavers is providing a creche for children of delegates attending its Professional Advancement Conference (PAC) in Birmingham this September – and several dozen spaces are available.

Move quickly. The deadline for booking spaces is on Friday 5 September.

The sector-leading event is open to all optics and audiology clinical colleagues – regardless of where they work – and it takes place at Birmingham’s International Convention Centre (ICC) on Sunday September 14.

Family is the heart of what Specsavers is and does,” says Gordon Harrison, Specsavers Director of Professional Advancement, Audiology. “With the current financial climate, we do see a number of families where both parents work and often split working hours.”

“It is important we support clinicians to develop and childcare should not be a barrier, especially as the event is held on a Sunday,” added Harrison.

More information is available at https://specsaversevents.co.uk/pac/general/home.asp, where you can also register for the PAC and book a creche spot.
