BSHAA – Focused on Member Experience
The British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists (BSHAA) has a fresh focus on enhancing their members digital experience by revamping its website’s members’ area.
BSHAA encourages all members to login into www.bshaa.org to check their profile information and ensure their ‘Find an Audiologist’ profile is available to the public.
MSHAAs can download their Membership Certificate featuring a fresh new design. They can also upload their portrait directly to their digital membership card.
BSHAA Insurance
With professional indemnity insurance being a crucial component for Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) registration renewal, BSHAA Members have an integrated direct link to Premierline, their insurance partner. In addition to Malpractice Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance, there is now Shop & Premises Insurance available.
BSHAA’s Commitment to CPD
BSHAA’s CPD portal helps members navigate potential HCPC CPD audits confidently, with their user-friendly BSHAA CPD Portal. To register email comms@bshaa.org.
Launch of BMAP – BSHAA Members Assistance Programme Pilot
BSHAA is proud to introduce the BSHAA Members Assistance Programme (BMAP).
This comprehensive resource offers access to vital services such as telephone counselling, face-to-face counselling, advice on health and well-being, family, and legal information. Any members who want to access this support please contact comms@bshaa.org.
BSHAA’s First Careers Fair – Audiology Works
May 2 marked a significant milestone for BSHAA with the inaugural BSHAA Careers Fair – Audiology Works. Responding to the requests of students and recruiters alike, this event was supported by industry leaders such as Amplifon, Boots, Amplify Hearing, Specsavers, and Hidden Hearing.
BSHAA Roadshow
Following the success of Manchester, the BSHAA Roadshow’s next stop is Cardiff. the BSHAA Team is excited to be connecting with members for another great, CPD approved day.
Working Groups
BSHAA is establishing its working groups for 2024, each chaired by a BSHAA director. The first two are: Quality Standards led by Michael Marchant and CPD, Education and Training led by Lynne Weatherill, Director. More will follow to deliver BSHAA’s strategic plan.
