Starkey were present in force at the recent 69th EUHA Congress in Nuremberg, Germany, their stand hosting a visit from the company's leaders in technology and innovation, as well as President and CEO, Brandon Sawalich. They all had a lot to say to Audiology Worldnews.

Five years from now, today's hearing aids "will look like toys", such will be the advances.
And the hearing aid technology of five years ago is "prehistoric" in comparison with today's devices, notably the latest Starkey platform, Omega AI. For he who made both these apparently audacious statements was none other than Starkey's Chief Technology Officer and Executive VP of Engineering, Achin Bhowmik.
And to be fair to the former Intel man, his prediction of incredible advances in the next five years in hearing tech was, he said, one he was "going to risk". Nevertheless, he justified the claim on the basis of what he knows his own team is preparing for future Starkey aids.
