The global medical technology company, Neuromod Devices, has been around since 2010, developing among its protected patents a bimodal neuromodulation device for tinnitus treatment: Lenire. Awarded in 2014 the CE Mark in Europe in, in 2023 Lenire became the first tinnitus treatment device of its kind to be awarded FDA approval.
