Amplifon posts record global revenues for 2023
The dominant global retail chain in audiology, Amplifon, has announced a bright start to its 2024 business, while still celebrating consolidated 2023 FY revenues of 2.26 billion euros.
In the first two months of 2024, the Company reported strong revenue growth, and expects similar growth throughout the year.
“I am proud of how our organisation faced and responded to a particularly challenging market and macroeconomic environment,” said CEO, Enrico Vita. “It was an important year for the significant investments made in the consolidation and expansion of our network also thanks to the several acquisitions in the core North American, European and Chinese markets.”
Amplifon has underlined aspects of its commitment to its staff, including the increase of the number of employees by around 1,200 people compared to 2022, and the increase in the percentage of women in managerial positions from 44% in 2022 to 47% in 2023. It also highlighted its contribution to the community, claiming its free hearing tests at the Group’s stores have allowed for 295 million euros savings by customers and prospects in 2023.
