62nd EUHA Congress and its AWN congress special are here!

EUHA 2017

Audiology Worldnews EUHA 2017

For the 62nd international gathering of hearing care professionals from 90 countries, we bring you the fourth edition of our Audiology Worldnews EUHA Congress Special Issue. Our magazine puts the spotlight on those topics that are hottest at the congress this year – “Nothing less than the future of hearing aid acoustics!” In his interview, Martin Blecker, EUHA President, chooses OTC and connectivity as key themes and lectures to attend; to warm you up for these topics, we offer a European perspective on the OTC debate with input from key industry figures in Europe. And then there are the musings of our resident Audiology business expert, Geoffrey Cooling, a regular contributor to our UK magazine. Cooling looks at where the profession is heading with connectivity. An interview with Dave Fabry covers both topics and much more.

Research on user satisfaction, interviews and much more

Susan Clutterbuck will present research that looks at real world outcomes for basic versus premium hearing technology in which it becomes clear that a premium clinic is actually more important than a premium hearing aid – a fascinating read.

Out with the old and in with the new (sorry Søren!), we have a farewell interview with Søren Hougaard who retired as Secretary General of EHIMA in the summer. And we welcome the new (to some) Dr. Stefan Zimmer who shares his thoughts on EHIMA and BVHI which he also heads-up.
