The 2017 BSHAA Congress takes place on 12th and 13th May at the Crowne Plaza Five Lakes Resort in Colchester. Organisers of the BSHAA 2017 Congress are confident that the event will ‘spark the curiosity’ of those hearing aid dispensers who attend the event in Essex.
The two-day education programme brings together experts from around the world to discuss advancements in hearing science, studies on the use of hearing aids to arrest cognitive decline, tinnitus and ear health. There will be practical workshops with professionals like Dr Gyl Kasewurm, who provides proven practical help to increase the revenue of a hearing care practice and Dr James Jackson who will show how to objectively measure the underlying stress linked to tinnitus and hearing loss. The programme has been designed with an emphasis on the contribution that good hearing makes to wellbeing; the overall theme for the 2017 event is ‘Hear well, Live well’.
In between the education sessions, an exhibition hall will be buzzing with the latest products, technologies, software packages and developments from an array of exhibitors. An ideal arena for networking, the exhibition booths also give delegates direct access to new technology solutions and equipment, much of which was released just a month previously at the American Academy of Audiology meeting.
