The set-up for World Hearing Day 2019 has been announced by its promoting body, the World Health Organisation (WHO). As every year it falls on March 3, a day for an awareness push across the planet through organisations large and small.
The International Society of Audiology (ISA) is just one such group participating in World Hearing Day, its online push involving Wikipedia in encouraging people to contribute ” translations of hearing-related content “, all of which will be monitored by the Wikipedia dashboard. The ISA is also participating in events worldwide through universities.
