A large section of the February issue of Audio Infos UK was dedicated to the Starkey Hearing Innovations Expo that took place in January in Las Vegas.
Three and a half thousands audiologists, business owners and Starkey employees experienced three days of presentations and Q&A sessions with Hollywood actor, Ben Affleck, two former US Presidents ―George W Bush and Bill Clinton ―former basketball star, turned business man, Magic Johnson and all four ‘sharks’ from the US television show Shark Tank. In addition, there were 20 plus industry speakers with Nina Kraus and Anu Sharma leading the audiology line up and many American hearing healthcare professionals sharing best practice from their businesses.
Also included in this issue an interview with the CEO of BSHAA, Prof. David Welbourn and with Dr. Pawel Jastreboff – the creator of Tinnitus Retraining: a fascinating insight into how TRT was born.
