AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting in San Diego, California

The American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (AAO-HNSF) is holding its annual meeting at the San Diego Convention Center from September 18-21, 2016.
The AAO-HNSF Annual Meeting includes a full education program, a symposium, and numerous social evening events, and the organizers hope to draw more than 5,500 otolaryngologists, medical experts, and healthcare professionals from around the world. The conference is in its 120th year.
The event is coupled with the OTO EXPO, which has over 250 companies exhibiting with a range of topics covering all aspects of current practice – device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, surgical instrument providers, EMR system operators, and financial management firms, among others.
The meeting includes an International Symposium covering a broad array of topics, instruction courses presented by experts and healthcare professionals in the field, miniseminars with presentations, case studies, and/or interactive discussions, as well as scientific oral presentations providing information on the latest findings from scientific research in otolaryngology.
A few examples of topics covered at this year’s event include “Big Data and Reimbursements”, “Getting Published: Reviews and Research”, and “How to Survive and Succeed in Practice in 2016” in the business/practice area, along with multiple specialized medical topics covering all disciplines and divided into endocrine surgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, general ENT medicine, and head & neck surgery.
