Noel Gallagher former guitarist and frontman of British rock band Oasis reveals he’s suffering from tinnitus. He was recently diagnosed after a brain scan prescribed when he started complaining about a ringing in his ear. According to doctors, the affliction is probably due to his years performing at ear-splitting volumes. In an interview with TalkSport radio host Andy Goldstein, he admitted: “I think it’s just through playing guitar for the last 20 years so I had to sit in a tube in the hospital.” Other famous musicians also stated they suffer from inner-ear condition: Coldplay’s Chris Martin, The Who’s Pete Townshend and Morrissey. Rock n’ roll might be deaf but not dead.
