Following a successful start to the month-long 2020 Digital EUHA Congress, the first EUHA digital live chats will start today, October 16, at 1400 CEST.

EUHA online live chats every Friday

The running order for these short live chats is: 1400–1415 CEST Prof. Dr. Birger Kollmeier, Oldenburg (Germany); 1415–1430 CEST Achin Bhowmik, Dave Fabry, Starkey, (USA); 1430–1445 CEST Dr. Jérôme Servais, Mannheim (Germany); 1445–1500 CEST Dr. Florian Schmidt, Lübeck (Germany).

So far, EUHA organisers have been well pleased with the numbers generated by the event, which had to be reformatted, from the in-person version planned to take place this October in Hanover, to a digital online-only format. With over 3,000 persons registered for the Congress as a whole—which runs a lecture programme until November 8—and over 2,300 "attendees" for the October 9 Digital Future Friday that kicked off this year's EUHA, organisers' estimates were doubled. Dr. Stefan Zimmer, Chairman of the board of the German Hearing Instruments Association (BVHI) qualified the Future Friday turn-out as "a very positive balance" and spoke of "at least complementary" digital offers for EUHA 2021.

EUHA live chats will take place every Friday until the event closes.
