A key UK diary change: May 14-15 is the new date set for the 2020 conference of the British and Irish Hearing Instrument Manufacturers Association (BIHIMA), brought forward due to cricket fixtures alterations.

BIHIMA 2020 conference on ‘disruption’…disrupted by cricket

The chosen venue for the event is one of many conference centres built into UK sports stadiums, this one at an important home for the Warwickshire county side, but also a regular international test match ground for the England cricket team.

Apologising for any inconvenience caused to delegates by the date change of this gathering (originally June 4-5), BIHIMA "hopes to welcome many representatives from the hearing industry for this hugely inspiring event". Although the change was not anticipated, it will provide a test the event's intriguing theme of Disrupt, Innovate, Change, which shaped a programme that "will demonstrate how ‘disruption’ is a force to be welcomed".

“We are looking forward immensely to welcoming the industry back for our 2020 conference. I hope everyone is ready to be challenged and stimulated, and to use this event as an opportunity to build much needed collaboration across the sector,” said the BIHIMA Chairman Paul Surridge.

Tickets will be available on a first-come-first-served basis and will be limited in number, available at www.bihima.com
