The world’s leading hearing aid battery manufacturer, Rayovac, is celebrating another successful year at the International EUHA Congress in Hanover, Germany.

2014 has seen another year of fast-paced technological advancements in the hearing industry and at this year’s EUHA, the company unveiled its own pioneering new product updates for the future.

Delegates visiting Rayovac’s stand this October, had the opportunity to see first-hand, the latest innovations from the company, including, its environmentally-friendly mercury-free innovations, powerful new cochlear Implant Pro+ batteries and superior new ProLine packaging offering a range of improvements for both consumers and audiologists.

NEW Mercury Free I.C.E.

In light of the recent announcement by the European Commission that all button cell batteries will be free of mercury as of 2 October 2015, the Rayovac team was on hand to inform and update delegates about the changes. It also demonstrated its commitment to the environment by showcasing its best ever mercury-free battery – the Rayovac Mercury Free I.C.E. (Innovative. Clean. Energy).

The launch of Rayovac’s powerful mercury-free product line comes at a time when instrument manufacturers globally are continuing to push the boundaries of hearing aid battery capabilities, with technological advancements meaning platforms, features and accessories are more sophisticated and power-hungry than ever before.

With unrivalled experience and expertise in mercury-free technology, including over a decade in development, these new product designs are “Wireless Approved” as standard. This means they meet the demands of the new ANSI/IEC testing protocols, developed to simulate today’s wireless requirements, ensuring continuous performance in all devices.

Director of Marketing, Paula Brinson-Pyke, said: “We were delighted to welcome hearing professionals from around the world to our stand at this year’s EUHA exhibition.
