GN ReSound has announced Paul Daft as their new Managing Director in the UK.

New General Manager for GN ReSound UK

Paul has been in the industry for nearly 15 years both in the UK and working across the hearing aid markets in Europe. During his time at GN he has taken on a number of leadership roles in sales in the NHS and private markets, as well as marketing and customer service departments. Most recently, Paul has been working as the Global Strategic Accounts Director for GN ReSound HQ in Denmark, working in partnership with some of the biggest retailers of hearing aids in the world. GN believe that Paul is uniquely positioned to understand the commercial challenges facing all sectors of the hearing aid business, as well as bringing his global experience to take a wider view of our evolving industry in the UK and Ireland.

Paul says “Over the last 5 years, GN ReSound has established itself as the technology leader in the hearing aid industry. However, I believe it is our job to support our customers with more than just the best hearing aids; we must also work with them each one to support their unique business needs.” Over the next couple of months, Paul will be spending a lot of time out in the field renewing old acquaintances, meeting new ones and strengthening his knowledge of the UK market. “As Managing Director, spending time with customers is critical to making sure we make the right decisions, now, and also for the future”.

In addition, GN are also pleased to announce the promotion of Heather Dowber to the new role of NHS Development Manager. Heather is a familiar face to many, having worked in audiology in the UK for 25 years. Her new role will strengthen further our NHS team and represents the commitment GN ReSound has to the public sector in the UK. We look forward to continuing our close co-operation with the NHS, bringing better hearing to thousands of your patients each year.

Heather says “I look forward to working closely with my colleagues at ReSound, and in the NHS to develop both products and service which deliver the exceptionally high quality required by our Modern Health Service across England, Northern Ireland Scotland and Wales”
