A new "Future Friday" format will grace the final day of this year's massive EUHA Congress, on October 18, and organisers want you to save the date.

Save this EUHA Congress date: Future Friday (October 18)

"Future Friday" will be a day exclusively dedicated to forward-looking topics focussing on hearing aid technology, with The European Union of Hearing Aid Acousticians (EUHA) and the German Hearing Aid Industry Association (BVHI) presenting free information on innovative issues, trends, and future developments as part of a highlight feature of fast-track presentations. Trade fair visitors and conference delegates can also take part in these events, which run parallel to the Congress presentation programme on the final day of the three-day event (October 16-18).

Taking place at the Nürnberg Convention Center, Germany, this year's EUHA will be aiming for an even bigger show than the 2018 event, which brought more than 8,000 delegates from 83 countries. "Future Friday" will kick off at 1400 when the trade exhibition closes. It will cover innovations, sketch visions, and introduce new issues such as artificial intelligence, bimodal hearing solutions, and remote fine-tuning. Subjects such as subjects such as latest-generation energy cell technology, eAudiology, bone-conduction hearing systems, and modern sensor technology will also feature.

Beate Gromke, EUHA President, said: “Future Friday will be offering hearing aid acousticians, journeymen, master craftspeople and apprentices alike, a chance to keep up to speed and to get ready for the future!"

Meanwhile, Dr Stefan Zimmer, BVHI Chairman of the Board, underlined the relevance of the new perspective: "Anyone attending this year's EUHA Congress or the trade exhibition and keen on getting information on hearing aid technology and forward-looking issues and trends, should go on Future Friday."
