EUHA Congress 2015: A pictorial review

Europe's largest audiology conference ― the International Congress of Hearing Aid Acousticians ― was held in Nuremberg for its 60th anniversary event, one of just a handful of host cities that can cater for the several thousand attendees who arrived from 90 countries.

Hearing care professionals enjoyed a conference program of 25 lectures, six workshop sessions and 125 exhibitors from across the globe. Presenters with international renown included keynote speaker Prof. Dr. Jürgen Kieβling who gave a review of the development of the 60 congresses and offered a glimpse into future trends. Martin Becker, EUHA President, told Audiology Worldnews, “Congress takes up issues which allow audiologists and acousticians to look beyond the horizons of routine and think outside the box.”

Dr Stefan Zimmer, Chairman of the Board of the German Hearing Aid Industry Association (BVHI), the co-organiser of the congress with responsibility for the trade exhibition.

Herdis Menhardt, an Austrian hearing care professional was named Audiologist of the Year at the Rayovac Evening of Excellence at EUHA.
