The Hearing Care Centre of Colchester (THCC) support hearing dogs

The Hearing Care Centre of Colchester (Vicki Skeels) presented acheque for £2,215 to Hearing Dogs for Deaf People in February. The amountwas raised over two successful charity events held during 2017 – a Golf Dayin September and Charity Quiz Night held last November.
Vicki acknowledgesthat “None of this would be possible without the generosity and support of ourclients, hearing aid manufacturers and local business associates.
“Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is a charity close to our heart,” she continues.“Modern hearing aids can go a long way towards treating hearing loss for mostpeople. Where they cannot, a hearing dog provides vital support, companionshipand rebuilding of confidence for those who are often isolated by profounddeafness.” The Centre’s next fundraising event will be a fun Quiz Night inColchester on 1 June.
