Action on Hearing Loss has launched a campaign calling on the government to require catch-up TV to offer subtitles. The way that we engage with media has dramatically changed over recent years, with and increasing number or people using catch-up and on-demand services. Action on Hearing Loss is campaigning for greater engagement from service providers with a view to introducing legislation from summer 2016 to this effect. They ask supporters to contact the culture minister, Ed Vaizey to aid their campaign.
